Laissez les Bon Ton Roulez! When New Orleans Mardi Gras celebrations prove too much, come to Natchez and celebrate small-town style. There are two parades through downtown Natchez, several Grand Balls, along with other smaller celebrations. The Mardi Gras atmosphere is everywhere, but the crowds are much more manageable.
It can be truly said that Peter Hamezopoulos brought his own flavor to Natchez. His Greek/American fare is to die for! You'll find traditional Greek foods like Spanakopita and Baba Ganoush (go to his website to get descriptions of these), but Center City also prepares some of the best thick-cut pork chops and lamb chops I've ever tasted. A must-try: Flaming Saganaki!
