Great Mississippi River Balloon Race

Hot air balloons compete in piloting and targeting contests while those on the ground enjoy the food, drink, amusements, and musical stars.  Always the third weekend of October.

 

Jim Bowie Festival

This is the LA barbeque championship as well as a great time to hear all kinds of music, from Gospel to Zydeco. Always the last weekend in September.

 

Natchez Food & Wine Festival

A weekend of culinary delights in Natchez that includes dining in antebellum homes, food and wine tastings, progressive lunch and tour, and a champagne jazz brunch.

 

 

Art & Soul Festival  Usually the first weekend of November, Art & Soul takes place in the heart of downtown Natchez, with booths featuring the best of local and regional artists, plus a musical stage and more!

 

Natchez Bluff Blues Fest  Natchez celebrates its blues heritage during one weekend of April, with musical acts on the main fairground stage as well as in venues all over town.

 

Natchez Festival of Music

The month of May is bursting with performances as Broadway, Jazz, and Opera take the stage.  Intimate parlor settings for some, grand auditorium sets for others.

 

Natchez Literary & Cinema Celebration  Enhanced by film, field trips, workshops, exhibits, book signings, and discussions, this Award-winning festival has been called "Mississippi's most significant annual conference devoted to literature, history, and culture."  February 19-22, 2009.

 

Vidalia Flea Market  The Vidalia RiverWalk is the site of this large outdoor arts and crafts show, the third weekend of October.
